Getting Started

FTTHelper is a companion for D&D-style campaigns. A campaign holds your sessions and everyone’s notes, and each note has its own privacy setting. Around that you get AI recaps, an Assistant that can read your campaign, a rules Compendium, ready-made NPCs, and art made from a description.

Your first session

1. Create an account with your email and a password on the sign-up page. More in Sign-in & Your Account.
2. If you run the game, open Campaigns, start a campaign, and copy the invite link from its page (Campaigns & Invites).
3. If you play, open the link your DM sent, sign in or create an account, and press Join as player.
4. The DM logs the session, and can add a start time, a teaser and the table’s Discord link ahead of the night. Afterwards everyone writes notes on it (Sessions & Notes).
5. Make art for your character or an NPC with Summon (Summon Art & the Forge).

Finding your way around

When you sign in you land on DM Hall if you run a campaign, and on My Dashboard if you don’t.

• Summon art is the button above the sidebar.
• Browse has the Library, the NPC Codex, the Leaderboard and the Community Gallery.
• Play has your Campaigns and the Assistant.
• Create has the Forge and My Art.
• Your account menu, at the bottom of the sidebar, opens Settings.

What costs money

Everything in these guides works on a free account unless the page says otherwise. Premium image models spend credits, and connecting an AI tool needs Hero, which costs $7 a month. See Credits, Plans & Your Own Keys and the Plans page.
