Summoning Art
Generate character and NPC portraits with Guided pickers or free-text Vibe mode. Free models for everyone; premium models via credits or your own API key.
Summon turns a description into finished fantasy art. There are two creation modes, and both end in the same place: a portrait you can use at your table.
Guided vs Vibe
- Guided — structured pickers (body type, armor fit, and more) for a reliable result without writing prose.
- Vibe — free text. Describe the character however you like.
In both modes your prompt is AI-enhanced server-side before generation, so short or rough descriptions still produce usable art.
Free models vs premium models
Free models are available to every account. Premium models — FLUX.2, GPT Image, Grok Imagine, Nano Banana — are credit-gated, unless you connect your own API key (BYOK), which makes premium art run on your key at zero credits. See Credits, Plans & BYOK.
Quickstart
- Open Summon from the toolbar.
- Pick Guided or Vibe and describe your character.
- Generate — then save, share, or grab it into a collection.
Tips
- Describe what makes the character distinctive — one strong visual detail beats a paragraph of adjectives.
- Reference-image support lets you steer a generation toward an existing look.
- Art you generate is clearly disclosed as AI-generated and stays yours — see Content Licensing.
