Compendium
A fast SRD/OGL quick-reference for spells, monsters, items, races, classes, feats, backgrounds, and maps — every entry citing its source and license.
The Compendium is a fast quick-reference for table rules content: spells, monsters, items, races, classes, feats, backgrounds, and maps — in a filterable table or card view.
What it is built on
Everything comes from open sources — the SRD under CC-BY-4.0/OGL-1.0a, Open5e, the D&D 5e API, and third-party OGL publishers such as Kobold Press and EN Publishing. Every entry cites its specific source and license, and Product Identity (named characters, iconic creatures, all-rights settings) is deliberately excluded. Details: Free Rules & SRDs and Licenses.
Quickstart
- Open the Compendium and pick a category (monsters, spells, items…).
- Filter or search to narrow the list; switch between table and card views.
- Open an entry for the full stat block or spell text, with the source cited at the bottom.
Tips
- Monster pages can be pulled onto your campaign’s shelf via the Campaign Log.
- The Compendium pairs well with the Forge generators — roll an encounter, then pull the monster’s stat block.
