Reliquary Swarm
Large undead (swarm), chaotic evil
Every lantern tower had a reliquary — finger-bones, medals, the small hard things a keeper was buried with. When the ninth tower flooded, its reliquary came apart and did not settle. The swarm keeps roughly the shape of a kneeling person and comes apart the moment anyone tries to hold it to that.

Traits
Swarm. The swarm can occupy another creature's space and vice versa, and can move through any opening large enough for a coin. It cannot regain hit points or gain temporary hit points.
Kneeling Shape. While the swarm has more than half its hit points remaining it holds a human outline, and a creature that has not seen it move can mistake it for a statue.
Actions
Relics. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 0 ft., one creature in the swarm's space. Hit: 21 (4d8 + 3) slashing damage, or 12 (2d8 + 3) slashing damage if the swarm has half its hit points or fewer.
The swarm bursts outward. Each creature within 10 feet must make a DC 14 Strength saving throw, taking 18 (4d8) bludgeoning damage and being knocked prone on a failure, or half as much damage and not knocked prone on a success. The swarm then moves up to 30 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.
