Peat-Borer
Large monstrosity, unaligned
Gallowpeat is cut in long trenches, and something has been following the cuts. A borer spends its life below the waterline and comes up through the floor of a trench where the peat is thinnest, which the cutters can hear coming and which does not help them, because it can also throw a spine forty feet.
