Gustwing Cur
Small beast, unaligned
Greyharbour chapmen wanted a dog that could carry letters over the mudflats at low tide and still sleep under the cart at night. The gustwing cur is what generations of that bargain produced: a wiry winged hound, loyal past sense, that treats a Small rider the way other dogs treat a stick — something to be carried proudly and set down gently.
