Gallowpeat Braid
Huge plant, unaligned
Gallowpeat preserves what goes into it, including the throats. A braid is what happens when enough of them are close enough together for the root system to make use of the arrangement: one body of woven root with nine preserved throats along it, all of which are still capable of the last sound they made. Cutting one off is how you get two.

Traits
Nine Throats. The braid begins with nine throats and makes one bite attack for every three it still has, to a maximum of three attacks. Whenever it takes 20 or more damage in a single turn, one throat is destroyed. At the end of its turn, for each throat destroyed since its last turn, two grow back unless it has taken fire damage since its last turn.
Preserved. The braid does not require air, food or sleep, and it regains 10 hit points at the start of its turn if it is in contact with peat and has at least 1 hit point.
Actions
Multiattack. The braid makes one bite attack for every three throats it has, as described in Nine Throats.
