Monsoon Sire
Huge dragon, neutral
He arrives ahead of the rains every year, riding the grey front down out of the high country with thunder stacked behind him like luggage. The Monsoon Sire does not rule the river — he feeds it, and he expects gratitude in the form of everything left out unroofed. Villages lay their first seed-corn on flat stones when his shadow crosses the fields. It is cheaper than gutters.

Traits
Legendary Resistance (2/Day). If the sire fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Amphibious. The sire can breathe air and water.
Actions
Multiattack. The sire makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.
Bite. Melee Attack Roll: +11, reach 15 ft. Hit: 22 (3d10 + 6) Piercing damage.
Claw. Melee Attack Roll: +11, reach 10 ft. Hit: 24 (4d8 + 6) Slashing damage.
Downpour Breath (Recharge 5–6). The sire exhales a drowning sheet of rain in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in the area must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 36 (8d8) Bludgeoning damage on a failure, or half as much on a success. Nonmagical flames are extinguished, and each creature that fails is soaked until the end of the sire's next turn: the next time it takes Cold damage within that time, it takes an extra 3 (1d6) Cold damage.
Legendary Actions
Sire's Swipe. The sire makes one Claw attack.
