The Magpie Tyrant
Medium monstrosity, neutral evil
A crow the size of a child, gone fat and proud on what it steals. It wears its hoard as a mantle of coins, keys, rings and mirror-shards sewn into its feathers, and it will trade almost anything except the last thing it took. Magpie tyrants rule roosts of lesser thieving birds and remember every face that has ever cheated them.

Traits
Stolen Voices. The tyrant can repeat any sound or voice it has heard. A listener who succeeds on a DC 13 Wisdom (Insight) check knows it is hearing a copy.
Glittering Mantle. While the tyrant is in bright light, ranged attack rolls against it have disadvantage.
Death Throes. When the tyrant dies, its mantle bursts apart. Each creature within 10 feet of it must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw, taking 21 (6d6) Piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Actions
Multiattack. The tyrant makes one Beak attack and two Talon attacks.
Beak. Melee Attack Roll: +6, reach 5 ft. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) Piercing damage.
Talon. Melee Attack Roll: +6, reach 5 ft. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) Slashing damage.
Bonus Actions
Snatch. The tyrant targets one creature within 5 feet of it that is holding or wearing an object that isn't armor or clothing. The target must succeed on a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw or the tyrant takes the object: a weapon, wand, holy symbol, pouch or similar.
