Source Prophet
Medium fey, neutral good
Where the first spring breaks out of the hillrock, someone is always waiting with a cupped hand and a verdict. Source prophets taste a watershed the way a judge tastes testimony, and they hand the water back cleaner than they found it. Anger one and the same hand closes; what it gives, it can keep.

Traits
Watersense. While standing in or within 30 feet of running fresh water, the prophet has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks and on saving throws against being poisoned.
Actions
Multiattack. The prophet makes three attacks: two with its springstaff and one with springlash.
Springstaff. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (3d10 + 4) bludgeoning damage.
Springlash. Ranged Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, range 60 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (3d10 + 4) cold damage.
Purify or Blight (Recharge 5–6). The prophet draws on the spring for one effect, and cannot use this action again until it recharges. Purify: up to three allies within 30 feet regain 13 (3d8) hit points and end one poisoned condition. Blight: each enemy in a 30-foot cone must make a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw, taking 27 (6d8) necrotic damage on a failure, or half as much on a success.
