Mourning Bell

The customs hulk's bell was cast to mark quarantine dead, and it kept the habit after the hulk was stripped. It walks the fog on struts of bell-metal now, tolling for crews it chooses and shielding the ones it keeps.

Traits
Immutable Form. The bell is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form.
Warding Chime. As a bonus action, the bell hums. Each ally within 30 feet gains 10 (3d6) temporary hit points. A creature cannot gain these temporary hit points again until it finishes a short rest.
Actions
Multiattack. The bell makes two tolling slam attacks.
Tolling Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 23 (3d12 + 4) bludgeoning damage.
Mourning Peal (Recharge 5–6). The bell tolls. Each creature within 30 feet must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or take 13 (3d8) thunder damage and be frightened of the bell until the end of its next turn. On a success a creature takes half damage and is not frightened.
