Brinewife
Medium fey, neutral evil
Where the tide flats go soft underfoot, old songs say a wife waits who married the water and kept the name. The brinewife does not drown travellers so much as invite them to stay past the turn of the tide, dealing counsel, kisses, and small green curses in equal measure. Her bargains always hold, and her reading of the tide is always right, which is worse.

Traits
Amphibious. The brinewife can breathe air and water.
Beguiling Lilt. As an action, the brinewife sings to one humanoid within 60 feet that can hear her. The target must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by the brinewife for 1 minute. A charmed target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Actions
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (2d6 + 1) slashing damage.
Brine Curse. One creature within 30 feet must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or take 9 (2d8) necrotic damage and be cursed with brine for 1 minute. While cursed, the target's speed is reduced by 10 feet and it cannot regain hit points from drinking or eating. A remove curse spell or similar magic ends the curse early.
