Loremaster’s notes
The Hexblade is the "I have one big attack that keeps hitting" Warlock. Hex Warrior (level 1) lets you use CHA instead of STR/DEX on attacks with your pact weapon. Hexblade's Curse (level 1, 1/short rest) is a bonus action: choose a creature within 30 feet. Add prof bonus to damage rolls. Crit on 19-20. Regain HP on a killing blow. At level 2, Agonizing Blast adds CHA to Eldritch Blast. At level 5, Eldritch Blast does 2 beams. At level 11, 3 beams. At level 17, 4 beams. With Hexblade's Curse adding prof bonus per beam, you can deal 4d10+CHA*4+prof*4 with one action. Race: Tiefling for Hellish Rebuke (cantrip fire damage, 2d10 at level 5) and CHA +2. Tiefling variants: Asmodeus (fire), Dispater (DEX save), Glasya (DEX). Glasya is best for a Hexblade because Invisibility at level 5 is a free action.
