Loremaster’s notes
The Spores Druid is the "I am a druid that smells like death" build. Halo of Spores (level 2) is a 1/usage feature (4 + level uses per long rest): on your turn, gain 4 temp HP. Reaction: deal 1d6 necrotic to a creature that ends its turn within 10 feet. Scaling: 1d8 at level 6, 1d10 at level 10, 1d12 at level 14. Fungal Infusion (level 2) lets you, as a bonus action, animate a corpse (Zombie, 1/short rest) for 1 hour. The zombie is CR 1/4, has 22 HP, +3 to hit for 1d8+1, multiattack 2. Symbiotic Entity (level 6) lets you, 1/long rest, spend a use of Halo of Spores to double the temp HP and the damage. So a level 6+ Spores Druid can deal 2d6 with reaction + 8 temp HP for 1 round of Halo. But the chassis is otherwise the same as a base Druid. This is a thematic build for "I am a fungal-punk druid who reanimates corpses." Not a math build. Race: any.
