Maps & Battlemaps
Tools to build your own battlemaps and sources of ready-made ones — what they cost, when each shines, and how maps fit around FTTHelper.
A good battlemap does half the DM’s spatial work. Build your own, download one, or summon scene art — each tool below earns its place.

Ready-made maps
- Community map shares — r/battlemaps and similar communities publish thousands of free-use maps; check each creator’s license before commercial use.
- Your adventures’ handouts — many published adventures include printable maps; those licenses vary by publisher.
The FTTHelper angle
Summon generates scene and character art — portraits for the faces on the map, establishing shots of the tavern before the fight starts. Maps handle tactics; art handles atmosphere. Both live in your gallery together.
