Loremaster’s notes
The Mercy Monk is the best support-melee hybrid. Hands of Harm (1 ki, melee spell attack) does martial-arts + 1d6 necrotic. Hands of Healing (1 ki, bonus action) heals 1d4 + level of the target. Flurry of Healing Hands (1 ki, on Flurry of Blows trigger) lets you heal an ally as a bonus action in the same turn you flurried. Stunning Strike is the reason: each of your up to 4 attacks per round (3 from Flurry of Blows + Martial Arts attack + bonus-action attack) can target a stunned creature. Stun = incapacitated + auto-fail STR/DEX saves = 2-3 party attacks with advantage. Race: Aasimar for the Necrotic Shroud transformation (level 3) — 1/turn, +CHA mod to all melee attack damage, frightened on hit. Or Aarakocra for the natural fly speed (requires DM permission for flight variants).
